Gamber House Fire

Just after midnight on Saturday, Sykesville Fire and EMS units were alerted for a house fire with possible people trapped in the 1100 block of Pouder Road. While units were responding communications advised that they were receiving multiple calls and also advised that everyone was out of the house.

Gamber units arrived on the scene and advised that they had a one story rancher with fire showing and also confirmed that all occupants were out of the house. Tower 12 arrived and the crew went to work assisting with ventilation and fire extinguishment.

Additional units arrived and assisted with extinguishing hot spots and overhaul.

Crews worked for several hours before returning to service.
