On Sunday evening Engine 124 responded to a kitchen fire in the 12,000 Block of Old Frederick Road. First arriving units from Howard County Station 3 reported smoke showing from a two story wood frame residential structure. Crews advanced an attack to the interior of the home and found fire in the kitchen area.

Engine 124 arrived shortly behind Howard Station 3 units and was advised to secure the utilities to the structure. Engine 124 remained on the scene to assist with overhaul and smoke removal.
