On Monday evening Rescue Squad 12 responded with units from Winfield Fire Department for a reported two car accident with one trapped at Route 97 and Bartholow Road. Units arrived on the scene and confirmed that one occupant was trapped in the car. Rescue Squad 12 arrived and went to work stabilizing the car. Once the car was stabilized the crew from Rescue Squad 12 went to work using hydraulic tools to remove the driver’s side door to access and remove the patient.
