| Sykesville fire crews made quick work of a stove fire at Frank's Pizza on Londontown Boulevard, Tuesday morning March 6.
Units were dispatched at 7:19 am to the Londontown Plaza after callers reported smoke coming from the building. Engine 124 arrived and laid a four inch supply line from Route 32 and Londontown Boulevard around to the front of the building, where crews found smoke showing.
Crews forced their way through the front door to find heavy smoke conditions. An attack line was stretched into the building, where firefighters found a stove on fire. The fire was contained to the stove area and quickly extinguished.
Firefighters remained on the scene to ventilate the building and check for any fire extension.
