Chief Ruch requested three more medic units to the scene, plus the Maryland State Police helicopter. Chief Ruch then requested a second helicopter and one additional medic unit.

A mother and two daughters were removed from the rolled-over SUV, assessed by medic crews and flown to Johns Hopkins Hospital. The remaining four patients from the two other vehicles were taken by medic units to Carroll Hospital Center and Northwest Hospital. The names and conditions of the victims are not being released.

On behalf of my mom, little sister, and I along with the entirety of our family, thank y’all for your hard work and for helping us when we truly needed it. I only wish I could meet the man and women that responded on the scene to see what they remember since I was only 2 years old when this happened. We cannot thank y’all enough for what you did that day.
