Sykesville Crews were busy throughout the snow storm responding to 17 emergency incidents. The department received help from the Maryland National Guard to assist crews with gaining access into neighborhoods that had not been plowed.

Crews also stayed busy throughout the day completing snow removal duties around the station throughout the storm.

The Sykesville Fire Department reminds all residents to clear fire hydrants that have been cover by the snow so responding crews will be able to quickly locate a fire hydrant if needed.
