Just after noon this past Saturday, Sykesville Fire and Rescue Units responded to Liberty Road and Johnsville Road for a vehicle collision. Captain 12 arrived on the scene and advised he had two vehicle involved in a head on crash. Paramedic 127 arrived on the scene and begin treating one of the injured drivers. Rescue Squad 12 arrived and the crew begin to stabilize one of the vehicles that was partially off the roadway so that the patient could safely be removed from the car.

Both patient were transported to an area hospital. Crews remained on the scene for a short time cleaning up debris.
