Just after midnight crews from Sykesville and Winfield Fire Departments were alerted for a garage fire at 60 Klees Mill Road. Chief 14 arrived on the scene and advised that he had a working garage fire with numerous exposures and requested to fill the fire box assignment.

Engine 124 arrived on the scene and laid a five inch supply line back the driveway and supplied Engine 142. The crews form Engine 142 and Engine 124 went to work pulling attack lines and extinguishing the fire. Rescue Squad 12 arrived and assisted with overhaul and checking for extension.

Additional units arrived and staged until released by Command.

The fire is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office.
