Large Mulch Fire

On Friday September 25, 2015, Brush 125 and Engine 124 responded to the area of 7800 Kabik Court in the Woodbine area for an unknown type fire.

Brush 125 arrived and found a large mulch pile on fire and requested additional units to include tankers. Numerous units from Carroll, Howard, and Frederick Counties responded to the scene to supply water to the units fighting the fire.

Units operated on the scene for several hours working with the property owners to extinguish the fire. It was determined that the owners would use heavy equipment to separate and extinguish the fire through the night.
