A woman escaped serious injury after her pickup truck went over on an embankment on Bevard Road, Monday evening, January 11.

Sykesville fire and EMS crews responded to the crash just after 7:00 PM. When they arrived on the scene, behind the former Wal Mart location, they found the pickup overturned on its driver's side. The driver was already out of the truck, and was evaluated by Sykesville EMS crews.

Police are investigating the crash.
