Sykesville's Rescue Squad 12 provided assistance at a house fire in Howard County, Friday evening, March 11.

When crews from West Friendship arrived on the scene in the 13700 block of Bold Venture Drive, they encountered a fully involved garage, with fire extending into the attached house.

A task force response was requested, bringing extra units to the scene, including Rescue Squad 12 with a crew of seven. Upon their arrival, the squad crew assisted with overhaul inside the home and checking for fire extension.

No one was hurt, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
