On Monday November 21, 2016, at approximately 6:30 am, ATV 12 and Utility 12 were alerted and responded to 15000 block of Sabillasville Road in Thrumont to assist on a large mountain fire. Frederick crews were out most of the night battling the fire and in the early morning hours requested additional manpower and units to assist.

ATV 12 arrived and was deployed into the woods to assist with extinguishment of the fire for several hours.
