Around 4:45 in the morning on 3/6/2022 Tower 12 was alerted to a possible Chimney fire in Winfield’s first due area.

First arriving units found smoke coming from the eves of the house. The call was upgraded to a house fire alerting more units.

E124 was alerted and responded on rapid intervention dispatch. Tower 12 operated with crews on the second floor assisting with fire attack. Crews operated for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.

Nine of our volunteers responded to this fire but there is always room for more.
