On Sunday August 1, 2015, Sykesville Fire Departments Units responded to McKeldin State Park located on Marriottsville Road for a subject in the woods having a medical emergency. Crews arrived and gathered information to the where the patient was located in the woods.

The patient was located and packaged onto ATV 12 and transported out of the woods to the a waiting Medic Unit for transport to a hospital.
