Sykesville firefighters assisted Howard County Division of Fire & Rescue Services crews with a house fire in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 26.

Tower 12 and Rescue Squad 12 crews were dispatched just after midnight for the house fire in the 2100 block of Route 97 in Glenwood. The crews assisted with various fireground tasks until the fire was brought under control.

There were no injuries, and Sykesville units left the scene around 4:00 AM.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
