Almost Done...New Tower 12 Update

Members of the Sykesville FD Apparatus Committee are in Ocala, FL to get a first-hand look at the nearly-completed Tower 12.

The committee arrived on Thursday at E-One Fire Apparatus, where they were able to not only get a look at the new tower, but also put it through its paces.

Members of the committee were able to inspect the systems on board the new tower, and were able to fly the tower to its full height of 100 feet, and flow water through the tower.

While the new tower looks great, it's not quite finished. It's expected that the new tower will be delivered in late spring.

The current Tower 12 is for sale, and will hopefully be helping protect a new hometown soon.
