Missing Swimmer

On Sunday evening ATV 12 was alerted to assist units with a missing swimmer in Liberty Reservoir. Utility 12 with ATV 12 responded with four personnel to the area of Deer Park Road and the Carroll County / Baltimore County Line.

Upon arrival on the scene ATV 12 and crew where advised that they were going to be used to transport equipment and personnel through the woods to the water edge. At this time ATV 12 was loaded up and began its travel through the woods. Crews encountered a small trail and had to clear several trees out of the way to make it to the staging point which was at the water's edge.

ATV 12 and crew made several trips into the woods with equipment and personnel until all operations were suspended due to darkness. Crews will resume the search in the morning.
