Around 12:20pm on 1/22 Station 12 units were alerted for a vehicle collision with rescue at Liberty Road and Exchange Drive. Medic 127 Engine 124 Rescue Squad 12, Chief 12-1 and Chief 12 (acting as Battalion Chief 3) responded shortly after dispatch.

Units arrived on scene and found a two vehicle collision with one patient trapped. Chief 12-1 established the command. The patient was extricated in approximately 10 minutes. A total of 4 patients were transported to the hospital. Two patients were transported to local hospitals and two others to area trauma centers. Crews operated for approximately 30 minutes before returning to service.
