Freezing Rain Makes for Busy Morning

Freezing temperatures and rain caused numerous accidents in the Sykesville area this morning during rush hour traffic. Sykesville crews responded to numerous vehicle collisions throughout the South Carroll area hampered by icy road conditions. Along with handling calls in our area, P129 was alerted to assist Westminster on a vehicle collision when clearing the hospital.
Sykesville, along with all of Carroll County remained busy handling accidents until the 9 o'clock hour.
