Serious Crash Sends Four Teenagers to Trauma

Feb 17th - Sykesville was dispatched at 02:14 for a vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 32 and Londontown Boulevard. Upon arrival, the crew found two vehicles in the intersection -- a full-sized pickup and a compact car with four patients inside and one of those patients trapped. Three helicopters were requested along with two additional medic units. E-124's crew went to work to extricate the patient with assistance from E-131's crew, as EMS crews attended to the other three patients. Crews where on the scene for about one hour. The cause of the crash is under investigation by MSP.
