| October is Fire Prevention Month. This is a great time to Fire Proof your home. Change those batteries in your Smoke Alarms and test them EVERY Month. Sit down with your family and draw a picture of the rooms of your home. Plan two ways out of everyroom and practice how you would get out of your home in case of a fire. Teach your children if they smell smoke to NEVER stand up and to alway GET LOW AND GO GO GO!! Have a meeting place outside and practice with your children their Address and phone number in case the have to dial 911.
