On Thanksgiving evening Sykeville units were dispatched to Route 32 in the area of Liberty High School for a vehicle collision. P-128 arrived and advised that they had two vehicles off the roadway in a field and also updated the location to Route 32 and Bennett Road. P-128 also advised that they had two occupants trapped in a van.

Rescue Squad 12 and E-124 arrived and began stabilizing the van. Once stablization was completed the drivers side door was removed to gain access to the driver. The driver was removed onto a backboard and then to a waiting ambulance. Once the driver was removed all efforts turned to the pediatric patient trapped in a back seat. The side of the van then had to be removed to access the patient and remove her to awaiting ambulance.

Command also requested a third ambulance for the occupants of the second vehicle.

P-128 and P-129 transported two priority two patients to John Hopkins Universtiy in Balitmore and P-139 transported three priority three's to Carroll Hospital Center.

Units: P-128, P-129, SQ12, E-124
