Sykesville Firefighters were alerted to respond to the Liberty Reservoir this evening to assist with a search for a missing Baltimore City Fire Recruit, Rodney Goggins.

Goggins was last seen at his Randallstown home on Sunday evening. The family reported him missing and nothing was learned until today when his car was found alongside Liberty Rd at the Carroll County/Baltimore County line.

Numerous crews from Sykesville Fire Department as well as divers and search teams from surrounding jurisdictions were called to help in the search.

At dusk, the search was temporarily suspended until 6am tomorrow morning.
