In the early afternoon hours of June 29, 2012, Sykesville Fire and Rescue Units were dispatched to Route 32 and Circle Drive for a reported vehicle collision. A-128 arrived on the scene and found a two vehicle collision with one patient still in the car.

Engine 124 arrived on the scene and began to stabilize the vehicle. The driver's side door was removed to allow access to the patient. Aviation was requested for both patients but due to the heat Trooper 3 was only able to transport one patient by air. The second patient was transported by P-149 to Shock Trauma.

While cleaning up units were advised of another accident at Route 32 and Johnsville Road. Units cleared and responded to the location and found two vehicles head on. All patients were assessed and all refused transport.

A sand truck was request to respond to the scene to assist with large amounts of fluids in the roadway, causing the north bound lanes of Route 32 to be closed during rush hour.

Units: P-129, Engine 124, U-12
