Overnight crash send one to Shock Trauma

An overnight crash sent a female to Shock Trauma with serious injuries. Fire and EMS personnel arrived to find a car on its side with a female heavily trapped inside. Rescue personnel worked diligently to extricate the patient. It took approximately 30 minutes to extricate the patient. Once stabilized she was transported to Shock Trauma via Maryland State Police Helicopter. The accident is being investigated by Carroll County Sheriffs Department.
