Sykesville fire and EMS crews helped local high schools celebrate their homecomings recently. Ladder 12 and Engine 123 participated in Century High School's homecoming parade, October 27. Century cheerleaders rode atop Ladder 12 along the parade route through downtown Sykesville. The next day, Ladder 12, Squad 12 and Medic 129 took part in Liberty High School's homecoming parade through the neighborhood around the school. Later that evening, Ladder 12 and Medic 129 stood by for the Lions' game against Westminster.
