Fire Department Officers Elected For 2006

The Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department announces its officers for 2006.

Robert Althoff will continue to serve as president of the department. Joe McCauley won re-election as Vice President. Christina Patterson was elected Secretary, replacing Donna Althoff; and Sue Tarrant will be the department treasurer, replacing long-time treasurer Dennis Beard.

The Board Of Directors will have a new member in Tom White, who was elected on a write-in vote. Also elected to new terms were current board members Jimmy Freeze and Bobby Volkert. They will join Les Paull and Dave Hoff, who are in the middle of their two year terms.

Ed Ruch, Sr. was re-elected chief of the department.
